All eligible participants are required to enroll in the referral bonus program by completing the enrollment form linked above. Any eligible program participant may complete the form more than once, so as to provide the names of multiple referral candidates.

The 2024-2025 service year College Possible AmeriCorps Referral Bonus Program (hereafter referred to as “Program”) will be offered for qualifying referrals of AmeriCorps candidates who accept offers to serve with College Possible no later than April 30, 2024, with earlier program closure deadlines for summer Transition Coaches as described below. After that date, no individuals may enroll for participation in the referral bonus program. Further, referral bonuses will not be paid for otherwise Qualified Referral candidates who accept offers after the deadlines specified in these terms and conditions.
College Possible reserves the right to end the referral program or amend these terms for any reason at any time, as well as the right to withhold incentive payments in a case where abuse is suspected. Participants in this program are subject to College Possible’s general privacy policy in addition to the terms and conditions outlined below.
Eligible program participants

Enrollment in the Program is limited to currently serving AmeriCorps members and staff, AmeriCorps members confirmed to serve in the 2024-2025 school year, and AmeriCorps alumni of College Possible, College Forward or College Access Now, with each group defined as follows:

-
Confirmed 2024-2025 AmeriCorps member is defined as anyone confirmed to serve as a College Possible AmeriCorps member on a full time or three quarter time basis for the entire 2024-2025 school year, including first years as well as returning AmeriCorps members.
-
Currently serving AmeriCorps member is defined as anyone who is serving as an AmeriCorps member with College Possible or College Forward during the 2024-2025 service year either as a first year member, returning member, or a summer 2024 transition coach who does not return for the duration of the 2024-2025 service year.
-
Staff member is defined as anyone who is employed by College Possible under any employment status, including alumni on staff. However, staff members whose titles and/or job descriptions explicitly identify AmeriCorps member recruitment as a function of their role are ineligible to participate.
-
Alumni is defined as anyone who has completed a College Possible, College Forward, or College Access Now AmeriCorps service year. This category excludes alumni who are currently serving AmeriCorps members, confirmed 2024-2025 AmeriCorps members, and/or are current College Possible or College Forward staff members.
Required program enrollment

Any individual from one of the categories described in the previous section who wishes to participate in the Program is required to enroll as a participant by completing this registration form. Any eligible program participant may complete the form more than once, so as to provide the names of multiple referral candidates.
Qualified referrals
For the purposes of this Program, a “qualified referral” must meet the following requirements:
-
Meets all College Possible AmeriCorps member eligibility requirements
-
Confirms acceptance via the completion of all onboarding steps and enrollment in eGrants/myAmeriCorps portal of an offer to serve by midnight July 12, 2024 of an offer from College Possible to serve as a full-time or three-quarter-time AmeriCorps member position for the 2024-2025 service year; and while also meeting at least one of the following criteria: (1) Identifies an eligible program participant as their referral source when completing a College Possible AmeriCorps application; OR (2) Has been identified with first and last name as a target candidate by an eligible program participant via the registration form prior to the qualified referral’s application submission date and time.
Further, the following referral candidate types will NOT be considered qualified referrals under the terms of this Program, regardless of whether they meet the terms described above:

-
Any candidate who has previously served with or been employed by College Possible or College Forward, for any length of time; and/or
-
Any candidate who received direct support from College Possible or College Forward AmeriCorps members as a college student during the 2024-2025 service year.
While an eligible program participant may refer prospective candidates who do not meet all of the requirements for a qualified referral, such referrals will not qualify for any incentive payments under the term of this Program.
Incentive payments
Incentives will only be paid under circumstances in which eligible program participants and qualified referrals meet the definitions provided in the respective sections above. The eligible program participant must be identified as the referring party by one of the two methods listed in the qualified referrals section above.

Any incentives paid are to be treated as taxable income. Any eligible participant who has already received a referral incentive with cash value will have that amount deducted from additional incentives to be paid.
For each qualified referral who is confirmed to serve as a first year AmeriCorps member for the 2024-2025 service year and remains confirmed in the program through midnight July 12, 2024, the referring eligible program participant will receive a $250 Visa gift card, defined as a confirmation bonus. Gift cards for the confirmation bonus will be distributed electronically on or after July 26, 2024, but not later than August 1, 2024. Total incentives paid out to any Eligible Program Participant for qualified referrals during the term of this program will not exceed a sum total of $6,000.

Upon verification by College Possible that a qualified referral has remained in service as a College Possible AmeriCorps member through October 31, 2024, eligible program participants will receive a second $250 Visa gift card, defined as a retention bonus. Gift cards for the retention bonus will be distributed electronically based upon the following schedule:

-
An eligible program participant who is also serving as a confirmed 2024-2025 AmeriCorps member as of midnight November 1, 2024 will receive the retention bonus no later than July 31, 2025.
-
All other eligible program participants will receive the retention bonus no later than November 30, 2024.

Split/shared rewards

In a case where more than one eligible program participant is identified as a referral source for a qualified referral, any confirmation bonus or retention bonus paid will be divided equally among all eligible program participants.
